Bruce Warner
David Bruce Warner〔(Alpine Skiing Athletes : Vancouver 2010 Winter Paralympics – WARNER David ), The Official Website of the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver〕 (born 5 June 1970 in Bloemfontein〔("Warner to compete in fourth Paralympics for South Africa" ), Inside World Parasport, 14 January 2010〕) is a South African alpine skier. He is the only person ever to have represented South Africa at the Winter Paralympic Games, and he is one of only two Africans (along with Ugandan Tofiri Kibuuka) to have competed at the Games to date.〔(Database of the International Paralympic Committee. )〕
Warner lost a leg in a car crash in 1988.
